Picture below shows Susan Anderson presenting a check for $100 to Shanna Smith, Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter, in the name of Jane Nicholson.  This was to thank Jane for allowing the Friends group to hold a Bake Sale in her store as well as for all she does for the Oskaloosa community.  This Bake Sale raised $2,301.00 to go toward the Nature Playscape project.  The Animal Shelter is one of Jane's favorite charities and they are in desperate need of donations after suffering huge budget cuts.

 

The $2,301.00 raised will also be matched by the George Daily Trust making a substantial donation to our project.
